About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol officer serving a financial institution in Belleville, Michigan. The officer will help safeguard the site by maintaining a visible presence, patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access and visitor activity, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers. The role requires professional customer service, clear communication, and calm, appropriate responses to security concerns. The position pays $21.50 per hour. The listed schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business operations areas, entrances, parking facilities, and the property perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report irregularities or policy violations.
Prepare accurate activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate shift handoffs in accordance with company and site requirements.
