Security Officer - Patrol - Infrastructure Site
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Patrol Mobility in Sparks, Nevada, to support a utilities location. This is a driving, unarmed security role focused on vehicle patrols, monitoring assigned areas, helping deter security incidents, and supporting access control. The officer maintains a visible presence, communicates professionally with employees and visitors, provides customer service, and follows site-specific security procedures and emergency response protocols. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $25.00 per hour.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utilities location while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, perimeter areas, parking areas, and critical infrastructure locations; identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and help deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established emergency response procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities according to company and site reporting requirements.
