About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Site Patrol Security Officer for a manufacturing and industrial location in Ironton, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard employees and visitors by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points, deterring incidents, and supporting a secure environment. The role also involves providing customer service, communicating clearly, using computer or tablet systems as needed, and following site procedures and emergency response protocols. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Pay is $17.47 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements imposed by applicable state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of industrial facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow established escalation and notification protocols.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in clear, accurate reports for site leadership and Allied Universal management.
