About The Position

As an unarmed patrol security officer at a food and beverage manufacturing location in Coshocton, Ohio, you will help safeguard the site and its personnel, visitors, and vendors. You will conduct routine and random patrols of the production facility, warehouse areas, parking locations, and perimeter; maintain a visible presence; support access control; and provide customer service and clear communication. The role also involves responding to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, reporting security concerns or facility conditions, and completing required documentation. This is a full-time position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 1:45 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.41 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the food and beverage production facility, warehouse areas, parking locations, and perimeter.
Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site requirements to help maintain controlled entry to authorized areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts and complete required documentation.
Observe and report security-related concerns, damaged property, or operational conditions that may affect facility operations.
