About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Security Officer for a data center location in Goodyear, Arizona. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service to visitors and personnel. The role uses computer or tablet systems as needed and supports a welcoming environment. The scheduled hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing may be required under applicable state or local requirements.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law as a condition of employment.
Meet state and/or local licensing requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and perform emergency response activities when appropriate in a data center environment.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
Observe and report unusual activity, facility conditions, and potential security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel.
