About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to support a government location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The officer will safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service and clear communication. The role involves working collaboratively with site personnel and responding professionally to routine concerns. The schedule is Wednesday through Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements imposed by state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while following site-specific procedures and security policies at government facilities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations by following emergency response procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or public emergency services.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious behavior.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.
