As a Security Officer Site Patrol in Pensacola, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government juvenile services location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and youth. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. Requirements

  • Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, residents, and other authorized individuals by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols within a government juvenile services environment.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for individuals entering or leaving restricted areas in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation; promptly communicate observations and concerns to appropriate site personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
