About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Site Patrol Security Officer in Northborough, Massachusetts, supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer monitors assigned areas, conducts routine patrols, maintains a visible security presence, and provides customer service to employees and visitors while helping maintain a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled for overnight shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, at a pay rate of $20.44 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, where required.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
CPR and First Aid certification.
CPR certification.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and following site-specific entry and exit procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as directed.
Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant security information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
