About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a financial institution in New York, NY. The officer will help safeguard the location by monitoring access points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents. The role also supports badge and access-control processes and assists visitors and employees professionally. The schedule listed is Monday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, Friday 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, and Saturday 7:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and guests while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements according to established post orders.
Respond professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and follow emergency response procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and the perimeter.
Report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation according to company and client requirements.
