About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol security officer at a commercial real estate location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The officer will safeguard tenants, visitors, and property by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The role includes using computer or tablet tools to document observations and communicate professionally. The scheduled shifts are Wednesday from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM and Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Pay is $19.70 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and use problem-solving skills when handling incidents, tenant concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of property interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report suspicious activity, property concerns, hazards, and maintenance-related issues according to site procedures.
Accurately document incidents, patrol activities, and observations, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
