About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Security Officer Incident Response Patrol Driver for a dynamic retail and mall location in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. The position serves and safeguards clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, supporting access control, and providing customer service. The role requires driving and a valid driver’s license under Allied Universal policy. The pay rate is $19.75 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
Valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation and drug screen, as permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and staff while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services as directed by site procedures.
Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Complete daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately while maintaining a professional presence.
