About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer and Patrol Driver at a financial institution in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The role helps safeguard the site through vehicle and foot patrols, a visible security presence, access-point monitoring, incident response, and customer service. Officers follow site-specific policies and established reporting and escalation procedures while representing Allied Universal’s values of teamwork, care, reliability, and integrity. The site has limited on-site facilities, including portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements applicable under state or local law; licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and foot patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, and the property perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, direct individuals to appropriate areas, and report unusual activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and security-related activities during each shift.
