About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol driver to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics location in Hainesport, New Jersey. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and providing customer service. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing requirements may apply before employment.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements, is required for this driving position.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State and/or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site procedures.
Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity in clear, timely reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
