About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for campus patrol in Fort Worth, Texas. The role serves and safeguards clients at a transportation location by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, supporting access control, and assisting visitors professionally. Officers use clear communication and customer service skills while responding to routine concerns and carrying out site-specific security procedures. The schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. The pay rate is $21.11 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, airline personnel, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout airport terminals, surrounding facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and verify credentials or authorization according to site-specific procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notify appropriate personnel, and document observations.
Maintain a professional presence and report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
