About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an unarmed patrol role at a hospital campus in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the site by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, and providing customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors. The role involves responding professionally to concerns and incidents, following site procedures, and preparing clear reports. The stated pay rate is $21.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 5:45 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Have at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while following site-specific procedures, policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and report access-control concerns through established channels.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders when needed.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns in clear, accurate reports.
