About The Position

As a Security Officer - Campus Patrol in Tempe, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. In this unarmed patrol role, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and clear communication. You will help create a welcoming environment while responding to security concerns professionally and with integrity. This is a full-time position paying $21.85 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday and Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of banking offices, common areas, parking facilities, and the property perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
Report facility concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
