About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a logistics and distribution location in Stockton, California. The officer will help safeguard the site by monitoring entry points, verifying access credentials, greeting visitors, and communicating professionally with employees and delivery personnel. The role supports security operations through attentive observation, accurate reporting, customer service, patrols, and response to incidents according to site procedures. The position pays $18.60 per hour. The listed schedule is 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Monitor facility entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor and driver access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations while following established site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, and identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
Monitor deliveries, shipments, and restricted areas to help deter unauthorized access and theft-related activity; report observations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
