About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver for a food and beverage production location in Oakdale, California. The officer will primarily drive throughout the property, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and help maintain a secure environment. The role includes providing customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers; communicating with site contacts and emergency responders; and responding to security-related concerns with integrity. The posted pay rate is $22.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; it is required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouse spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to identify unusual conditions and deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff documentation while remaining aware of food production and warehouse operations.
