About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at a client site by actively monitoring the premises, patrolling locations, preserving order, and enforcing site regulations and directives. Officers observe and report activities and incidents and may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. A current Delaware State Guard Card is a plus. Security positions are available full time and part time. The listed wage is $18.00–$20.00 per hour. A hiring event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 800 N. King Street, Wilmington, DE 19801.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Physical ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently for extended periods; climb stairs; and walk on inclines and uneven terrain.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves
