About The Position

As a Security Officer Reception Driver in Visalia, California, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries including retail and malls. At a retail location, you will provide a welcoming, visible presence while supporting a secure environment for customers, employees, and visitors. You will manage visitor access, monitor security-related systems, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and communication. This driving position represents Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through integrity and teamwork. The position is full-time and pays $18.57 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 AM to 8:30 AM.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located; a valid license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at the front desk.
Greet and screen visitors, manage sign-in processes, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access records in accordance with location policies.
Monitor front-desk activity, answer incoming calls, and direct visitors to appropriate personnel or areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established emergency response procedures.
Report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
