Distribution Center Security Officer
About The Position
The Distribution Center Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing client-site regulations and directives related to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They may provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned site to help protect client property and personnel. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Positions are available full-time and part-time.
Requirements
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Nice To Haves
- A current Delaware State Guard Card is a plus.
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is a good fit, though experience is not necessary.
