About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service while upholding Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial property grounds, parking areas, common areas, building perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and/or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in clear, accurate reports.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and public-service personnel regarding security-related concerns and site activities.
