About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Security in Los Angeles, California, you will serve and safeguard clients at a financial institution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment through routine patrols, clear reporting, and teamwork.

This is a full-time position scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The pay rate is $21.20 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be 21 or older.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on applicable state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business offices, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity according to site-specific procedures; report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior.
• Prepare accurate, timely reports and maintain activity logs documenting incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related conditions.
