About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients in industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents and critical situations, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site. The listed pay rate is $23.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements; licensing may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
