About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a temporary, full-time Security Officer for a lobby assignment at $19.00 per hour. The officer will help safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role involves providing customer service, following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients while carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
