About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Lobby Credentialing in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, for a healthcare location. The officer serves as a welcoming presence for visitors, patients, and staff while helping maintain a professional and secure environment. The role includes managing access, observing entrance activity, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service and clear communication. The position is scheduled Thursdays from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Saturdays from 4:00 PM to 11:59 PM, at a rate of $17.01 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service at a healthcare front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor screening, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and staff; verify access authorization; issue visitor credentials; and direct individuals to appropriate departments or services.
Monitor entry activity, reception-area conditions, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity, access concerns, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, following site procedures and contacting emergency services or site leadership when directed.
Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and incident documentation while protecting confidential patient and business information.
