About The Position

As a Security Officer - Overnight Lobby in Mesa, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at an aerospace and defense location. This is an unarmed security role focused on monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and supporting a welcoming environment. You will provide customer service, communicate clearly with personnel and visitors, and respond professionally to site needs.

The position is full time and pays $23.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is conditional on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. A guard card or license and customer service experience are preferred. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws; a valid driver's license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, aircraft-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as required.
• Report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, patrol reports, and incident documentation in accordance with company and site requirements.
