About The Position

As a part-time unarmed Security Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Springfield, Ohio, you will provide a welcoming front-desk presence, manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The role combines customer service and clear communication with efforts to deter incidents. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 12:00 AM to 8:00 AM. Pay is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, if required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and other security systems; report unusual activity or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents, requests, and critical situations, following emergency response and escalation procedures as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate visitor, access, incident, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site contacts, employees, and Allied Universal leadership.
