About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, overnight Security Officer for a manufacturing TWIC site in Port Arthur, Texas. The role safeguards clients by following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, providing customer service, responding to incidents, and conducting patrols. The position pays $16.60 per hour, with weekly pay. The work may involve varying conditions depending on the client site, including outdoor work and extended periods of standing and walking.

Requirements

• At least one year of security experience.
• Clean driver's license with no flags or suspensions.
• Comfort using computers or tablets for gate access.
• Experience with badging and access control.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions; licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
