About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Patrol Officer in Gardena, California. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and supporting access control and visitor interactions. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. The officer is expected to provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site. This is a full-time position paying $19.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday 6:00 AM–3:00 PM, Thursday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, Friday 3:00 PM–11:30 PM, and Sunday 6:00 AM–3:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
Support access control and visitor interactions.
