About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer for a healthcare location in Pine Brook, New Jersey. The officer will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors. The role uses computer- or tablet-based tools to help maintain a professional and secure environment and requires clear communication with staff and guests. The position pays $22.50 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following site-specific security procedures and front-desk policies in a healthcare setting.
Greet and direct visitors, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials as applicable, and maintain accurate visitor or access records.
Monitor front-desk activity, access points, alarms, cameras, and communication systems, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related events, and critical situations by following established emergency response procedures.
Answer incoming calls, relay information to appropriate personnel, and support a professional, welcoming front-desk environment.
