Security Officer Full Time Credential Records
About The Position
As a Security Officer at a residential location in Wellington, Florida, you will help create a welcoming and controlled environment by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor access, issuing badges, and maintaining accurate access records. You will provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors, communicate professionally, and help identify and report security-related concerns. The role includes carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. The position is full-time and pays $18.54 per hour. The schedule is Thursday through Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor sign-in procedures, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond calmly to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, and promptly communicate observations to appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Report maintenance concerns, access-control irregularities, and other security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.
