About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned site in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The position offers a dependable weekly anchor shift and the option to claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform. The fixed-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment; additional shifts may provide opportunities to work up to 40 hours in a week, with the option to scale back. The role is intended for candidates seeking part-time work, income stability, and the possibility of building toward a full-time schedule.

The officer provides security and customer service at a medical office building, responding to incidents and conducting unarmed patrols. The position pays $19.00 per hour and lists a Monday shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, tenants, and staff while following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the medical office building, common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter; identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies while maintaining a professional, welcoming presence.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
