Security Officer Full Time Credential Verification
About The Position
As a full-time unarmed Security Officer in Mahopac, New York, you will serve and safeguard clients at a school district location. You will maintain a visible security presence, conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a security-related role.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the site and its perimeter.
- Support access control activities.
