About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for credential verification at a logistics and distribution location in Eastanollee, Georgia. The officer will manage access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, assist visitors and personnel, monitor entry activity, and use computer or tablet systems in support of security operations. A visible presence and strong customer service help deter incidents while maintaining a welcoming, orderly environment. The role is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 11:00 PM to 11:00 AM and pays $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements depend on state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and access-control protocols, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records.
Screen and direct employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel according to site requirements.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns through established reporting channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
