About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a residential location in Plainview, Texas. The role supports a welcoming and secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying access, communicating with residents and visitors, and reporting security concerns. The officer provides customer service and maintains a professional, visible presence to help deter incidents. The position pays $15.48 per hour, with weekly pay. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Officers can use the Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and emergency responders.
Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
