About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Evansville, Indiana, you will serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. A visible presence, professional communication, and customer-focused approach will help deter security-related incidents. The role is full-time, with a stated pay rate of $17.22 per hour and scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any state or local licensing requirements that may apply before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency-response activities when appropriate.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain entry logs, and direct authorized personnel, deliveries, and vehicles according to site procedures.
Respond calmly to access-control concerns, incidents, and critical situations; report observations and follow established escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking locations, the business interior, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
