About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Marco Island, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a premier hotel and resort location, you will help create a welcoming, secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying badges and credentials, and assisting guests, residents, and visitors with professionalism. You will maintain a visible presence, help deter incidents, communicate clearly, and support security-related operations through teamwork, integrity, and exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and vendors at a resort community by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, manage visitor and vendor arrivals, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and staff while providing directions, reporting observations, and supporting a welcoming resort environment.
