About The Position

As a Security Officer Credential Verification in Danville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control policies, and emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Control entry and exit of vehicles, deliveries, and personnel, following established procedures for restricted areas, contractor access, and material movement.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of facility access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
