About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for Lobby Services at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in San Francisco, California. The role focuses on welcoming visitors, managing facility access, monitoring entry activity, and providing customer service while supporting a secure and professional environment. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The pay rate is $26.95 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any licensing requirements that apply under state or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license only if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at the front desk by following site-specific security procedures and policies.
Monitor facility access, verify visitor credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests according to established protocols.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following emergency response procedures as appropriate.
Answer incoming calls, provide general information, receive deliveries, and coordinate notifications with appropriate site personnel.
Observe front desk activity and report unusual conditions, policy violations, and security-related concerns to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
