About The Position

As a part-time Security Officer in Lobby Operations at a luxury retail location in McLean, Virginia, you will help safeguard the site while providing a welcoming front-desk experience. You will greet guests, manage access control and badge procedures, monitor entry activity, and use computer or tablet systems to support a secure environment. The role is scheduled Thursdays and Fridays from 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and pays $25.75 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements before employment, if required.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors, associates, and vendors at the front desk and provide directions and assistance.
Verify visitor, vendor, and delivery authorization according to site-specific policies.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and package logs and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following emergency response procedures.
Observe front-desk activity and promptly report unusual or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel to help deter unauthorized access.
