About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a patrol driving position at a healthcare location in Albany, Georgia. The role involves safeguarding patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and the facility while providing customer service and maintaining a welcoming environment. The position requires a valid driver’s license and includes scheduled patrols, access-point monitoring, incident response, and accurate computer-based reporting. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour.

The schedule is Thursday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and Friday through Sunday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on applicable background investigation and drug screening requirements. Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local laws.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required for this driving position and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical emergencies, behavioral health concerns, and other critical situations in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor directions and access-control procedures, and report suspicious activity or facility hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports of incidents, patrol activities, and other security-related observations in accordance with company and site requirements.
