About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer in Honolulu, Hawaii, to serve and safeguard clients, including in commercial real estate. The role involves delivering customer service while following safety and security procedures and site-specific policies, responding calmly to incidents, and conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter. Work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The position pays $18.50 per hour. The listed schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have five years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background investigation as a condition of employment.
• Undergo a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations.
• Have a valid driver's license if the position involves driving.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Carry out emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
