About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed patrol Security Officer at a utilities location in Oregon, Ohio. The officer will help safeguard the site through routine patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and clear communication while providing customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors. The schedule includes Monday 1:45 PM–10:00 PM and Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $19.04 per hour, paid weekly.

Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports in accordance with site policies.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
