Security Officer Part Time Patrol Customer Service

About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Patrol Unarmed Security Officer for a commercial real estate location in Bossier City, Louisiana. The officer will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, and communicate professionally with tenants and visitors while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled for daytime shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and pays $13.50 per hour with weekly pay. The officer will provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel; patrol building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations; monitor access points and activity; respond to incidents and alarms; and complete reports and shift documentation. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and property management personnel by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations; follow emergency response procedures and notify appropriate personnel.
Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property.
Report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.
