About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a utilities location in Nashville, Tennessee, you will safeguard clients and provide customer service in a driving patrol post. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and report security-related concerns. The role emphasizes customer service and contributing to a welcoming environment. The listed pay rate is $17.00 per hour. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 12:00 AM–8:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license, in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, and utility infrastructure to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, follow established site procedures, and notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and observe activities throughout the location.
• Document patrols, incidents, and maintenance or operational concerns in required reports.
• Help deter unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, and other security-related concerns through a professional presence and timely reporting.
