Entry Level Security Officer
About The Position
The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role involves preserving order and enforcing site regulations and directives concerning personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Security Officers also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is required; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The role pays $17.50 per hour, with weekly pay and opportunities for growth within the company.
Requirements
- Must have customer service experience and excellent customer service skills.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Nice To Haves
- Retail, food service, or hospitality industry experience is identified as a good fit.
Responsibilities
- Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to help protect client property and personnel.
- Actively monitor premises and patrol a variety of locations.
