About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a full-time Response Security Officer in Riverhead, New York. The role varies by day and special event and may include customer service, patrols, and surveillance. Officers are expected to adapt to changing situations while helping protect people and property. The schedule is Saturday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., for 40 hours per week. The hourly wage is $18.50. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process.
• Be able to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
• Have responsive and strong problem-solving skills.
• Hold a New York State security license.
