About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites by actively monitoring premises and patrolling locations. The role involves preserving order and enforcing site regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. Officers observe and report activities and incidents to help protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. The position pays $16.40 per hour and includes a second-shift schedule with weekend hours. Security positions are available full-time and part-time.

Requirements

Valid Ohio driver's license.
Driver certification required.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to complete patrols.
Strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Able to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking, sometimes for long periods, and may need to climb stairs and walk on inclines or uneven terrain.
Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background.
