About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a part-time Security Officer Supervisor for a concierge security post in Baltimore, Maryland. The role emphasizes customer service and building confidence with visitors in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for 16 hours per week. Compensation is $22.50 per hour. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a background check and drug screening after an offer.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Have a state security license or be able to obtain one.
• Have at least 2 years of supervisor experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
